For farmers

The Africa Farmers Club

A farmer-owned, farmer-led community. Ask the questions that matter on your farm, learn from farmers and experts, and get support that reaches your shamba.

In the Club

What happens in the community

  • Weekly discussions on a crop, a challenge or a season decision - led by farmers, joined by experts.
  • Live expert interviews where agronomists, vets and agribusiness specialists answer member questions.
  • Local workshops on topics like soil testing and seed care, organised county by county.
  • Farm visits to member farms that are doing something worth learning from.

Farmer support

Three ways AFarmers supports your farm

Farmers inspecting a bean field together during a clinic

Physical farm visits and clinics

Agronomists and experienced Club farmers visit member farms to look at the crop, the soil and the setup - then advise on the spot.

Visits are organised by county and announced inside the Africa Farmers Club and by SMS. Register below and tell us your county and crops so we can include you when the next visit or clinic is planned near you.

Workers among drip-irrigated onion rows during a practical session

Practical training sessions

Hands-on group training on good agricultural practices - from land preparation and spacing to harvesting and record keeping.

Sessions run in the field and in halls, county by county, and are announced to registered members first. They are built for practice: you leave having done the task, not just heard about it.

AgriBusiness advisory

Help treating the farm as a business - planning what to grow, costing it properly and finding the right market.

Advisors work with Club members on enterprise choice, budgets and market options. Bring your records and your questions; leave with a plan you can act on.
